Kia at 2022 New York International Auto Show

The 2022 New York International Auto Show recently wrapped up and Kia came to play yet again. Over the past few years, Kia has been absolutely killing the game with impressive features and attractive styling for a great value. Kia took over the 2022 New York International Auto Show and debuted the refreshed 2023 Kia Telluride, all-new 2023 Kia Niro, and continued to showcase the 2023 Kia Sportage that is just now arriving at dealership lots. The next-generation Niro has been designed from the ground up to meet and exceed the expectations of eco-minded consumers. The second-generation Niro debuts in three flavors, each of which is more design-focused and technologically enabled than ever before. With striking styling cues and a commitment to sustainability and connectivity throughout, the 2023 Niro will launch in the United States with three highly efficient, electrified powertrains: hybrid electric (HEV), plug-in hybrid (PHEV), and all-electric (EV). The 2023 Kia Niro is stronger, lighter, and more powerful. These new Niro models are larger in every dimension including class-leading passenger and cargo volume. One aspect of the new Niro is the side profile. The 2023 Kia Niro is accentuated by the Aero Blade. This is a highly distinctive shape that also aids airflow underneath. The Aero Blade can be painted in body color or a variety of contrasting colors. The 2023 Niro is packed with safety and technology to propel the new Niro to the front of the market and compete with other hybrid and electric offers from Tesla and other manufacturers.

The Kia Telluride is one of the most popular SUVs on the market. Almost three years after its introduction, we still can’t keep the Telluride on the lot. For 2023, Kia added refreshed styling, more capability, and enhanced technology to keep the Telluride at the front of the SUV pack. 

Designed specifically for the United States market, the Telluride has been a head-turner from the very start. Retaining its bold and sophisticated appearance, the Telluride undergoes some exterior restyling for a more rugged and refined look in the new model year:

• Revised vertical headlamp design which come standard LEDs with available foglamps
• New bumpers and grille
• Revised taillamps
• New rear fascia and trim
• Revised lower door garnish trim and side sills
• New wheel designs for every trim
• Three new exterior colors
  • Midnight Lake Blue
  • Dawning Red
  • Jungle Wood Green

As before, the Telluride interior captures a feeling of upscale exploration in a spacious, three-row, eight-passenger environment with class-leading passenger room. Thoughtful new updates include:

• Curved and seamless dual 12.3-inch display screens which includes the available digital gauge cluster and navigation screen
• Redesigned dashboard with revised trim panels and climate vents
• Redesigned steering wheel
• New interior color packages

Finally, the 2023 Kia Sportage was shown at the Auto Show. Among other models, the 2023 Sportage is the newest offering to hit the dealership lots.
