Incredible Speed
The 2022 EV6 GT trim level offers incredible power and speed. The GT will be powered by the 77.4 kWh battery with a 160kW front motor and a 270kW rear motor that yields 576 horsepower. As for speed, this model has an estimated 0-60 mph performance of 3.5 seconds!
Super-Fast Charging
The new 2022 EV6 can charge from ten to 80 percent (up to 210 miles) in just 18 minutes with 800v charging at 350 kW speed. The EV6 also features the world’s first 800V multi-charging architecture that supports 400v and 800v DC charging with speeds ranging from 50kW to 350kW, so you can charge your EV at most public charging stations without problems!
New Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP)
The 2022 Kia EV6 is built on an all-new platform that Kia specifically designed for BEVs (battery-electric vehicles), the Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP). The E-GMP offers RWD and AWD capability, a five-link rear suspension, a long wheelbase and short overhang, a strong body structure and an underfloor-mounted battery for a low center of gravity and stability. This new platform also offers the world’s first mass-produced integrated drive axle (IDA) for a smoother ride and better handling.
Luxurious Interior
The 2022 EV6 has a luxurious interior built from sustainable materials like recycled plastic and vegan leather upholstery. The 12-inch touchscreen infotainment center offers blue-light filtered screens to minimize eye strain and offer all the entertainment applications you need including Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, UVO link and more.
Advanced Driver-Assistance Features
The EV6 has a menu of 21 standard active Advanced Driver Assistance Systems including Highway Driving Assist II. Highway Driving Assist II is a driving assistance system that maintains a set distance with the vehicle ahead and centers the vehicle in the lane. Navigation Based Smart Cruise Control-Curve utilizes the EV6’s navigation system to lower the vehicle’s speed to adapt to curves in the road, and Intelligent Speed Limit Assist recognizes speed limit signs and provides drivers with prompts on the Head-Up Display (HUD) to prevent speeding!
