The Kia Seltos X-Line Trail Attack and Urban Concepts
If you’re an off-road rebel, you may think that no Kia is capable enough to venture to parts unknown. The Seltos is an incredible addition to Kia’s lineup of rough and rugged SUVS, and it is most certainly suited to take on the Arkansas outdoors! The new Kia Seltos X-Line Trail Attack Concept vehicles are here to further convey the athleticism and adventurous spirit of the Seltos, and they’ve got looks that kill!
The Seltos is perfect for commuting and city driving, but even city dwellers like to get off the grid! The new Seltos X-Line Trail Attack is all about taking the road less-traveled and getting out of your comfort zone. The custom two-tone paint scheme resembles a desert sunset, and the eight ultra-bright Hella auxiliary lights mounted on the front bumper and roof light light the way when the sun sets. Powered by the 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, the Trail Attack Concept produces 175-horsepower and 195 lb.-ft. of torque through a 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission. The electronic all-wheel-drive system has a center differential lock that equally distributes power between the front and rear wheels, and the custom 2-inch lift kit raises ground clearance to 9.2-inches. For improved off-road traction and security, the Trail Attack is fitted with off-road tires with 17–inch custom painted alloy wheels.
The Seltos X-Line Urban concept is built for the rough, mean streets of urban cities. It’s dual-tone Gloss-Black and Slate Gray paint scheme is inspired by the glass and steel skyscrapers of New York City, San Francisco and Los Angeles. On top, four high-powered Hella auxiliary lights light up the night, and the custom roof rack provides ample storage for weekend getaways. With a custom 2-inch lift kit, drivers never need to feel potholes or bumpy roads, and the electronically-controlled AWD system with torque vectoring provides optimum traction. Under the hood, the same 1.6-liter turbocharged engine in the Trail Attack powers the Urban concept with authoritative acceleration for the busy city streets. Finally, the inside is decked out with all the most advanced technology that Kia has to offer, including a 10.25-inch touchscreen with rear backup camera and navigation.
While there are currently no plans to produce either concept vehicle, Kia is known for later releasing their concept vehicles to the public. The Telluride and the Stinger themselves began as the Telluride Concept and the GT Concept vehicles, and both cars eventually found their ways to streets and driveways all over America.
