The Telluride Wins Another Award

What does the Kia Telluride have in common with the Chevrolet Corvette, Honda Accord, Porsche 718 Boxster/Cayman, and the Ram 1500? They were all named to Car and Driver’s 10Best List for 2022!

The 2022 Kia Telluride continues to wow us. From its sculpted exterior design to its detail-oriented cabin, we at Landers Kia continue to be impressed with the Telluride model, especially as this is only its third year running. Kia pulled out all the stops to mold the Telluride into an SUV worth the luxury without straying too far from Kia’s roots as an affordable car company. 

The Telluride has three rows of seating and ample space for grocery bags or sports equipment. The rugged exterior blends well into a refined interior, built with comfort and safety in mind. The Car and Driver team set a price limit at $90,000, started the list there, and then evaluated each car in the running for two weeks. Each year is up against the previous year’s winners. The team is looking for the 10 best cars in the industry that year, rating each vehicle on a 100-point scale that takes into account infotainment systems, driving styles, cargo and passenger space, and everything in between. The 10Best awards are given to the vehicles that reigned supreme in their categories, as they were knit-picked at every detail. 

Previous awards the Telluride has won include the 2019 North American Utility Vehicle of the Year, MotorTrend SUV of the Year, and a previous Car and Driver 10Best award as well. The Telluride was also the first SUV to win the “Triple Crown,” the title of a vehicle that wins all three of the awards mentioned in the previous sentence, in one year. The Telluride has also won safety pick awards due to additional safety features added or available for customization.
