Infrequent vehicle use

You probably have had a vehicle that was used less frequently this year. If you anticipate using a vehicle less frequently this winter, we recommend starting your car and letting it idle for 15-20 minutes at least once a week.  It is even better to drive the vehicle at least once a week for 15-20 minutes if you can to prevent flat spots on your tires. If you’re unable to drive the vehicle, inflate your tires to 7.5 psi higher than the recommended pressure for long-term storage.

Tires

Keeping your tires properly inflated will extend the life of their tread. Make sure to frequently check your tire pressure and follow the recommended pressure levels indicated in your vehicle owner’s manual. If you need new tires, take advantage of Kia’s promotion: buy four three tires and get the fourth for just $1! This promotion runs through October 31st, so act fast before it’s gone!

Oil and Fluids

It’s important to keep your oil and fluids topped-up and changed at regular intervals for optimal performance in any season. At Landers Kia, we frequently have coupons available for routine maintenance services like oil changes. Check out our service specials here

Battery

The hot Arkansas summers can cause damage to your battery, and fall is the ideal time to check its condition and replace it if necessary. You can find our part specials here to see our current offers on batteries.

Wiper Blades

In Arkansas, we get plenty of rain in every season. As the temperatures drop, we’ll have terrible sleet, too. If your wiper blades squeak or create streaks that impede your visibility, it’s time to change them. We can quickly replace your wiper blades in our service center
