Where to See Christmas Lights in Central Arkansas

It’s that time of year again! The whole city is aglow with holiday cheer and everything seems a little brighter (even if the days are a little colder). At Landers Kia, we love the holiday season, and one of our favorite ways to get into the spirit is by going out on the town and viewing gorgeous light displays. Below, we’ve compiled our own list of our favorite light displays in Central Arkansas. Read on to learn more! 

Arkansas State Capitol

Where better to start celebrating the holidays in Arkansas than stopping by the state capitol! Each year the exterior of the Capitol is lined with soft white Christmas lights, while the interior is decorated to fit the season. The most noticeable thing upon walking in will probably be the large tree in the middle of the room, reaching up through the ceiling into the second floor. Once inside the building though, there are plenty of hidden nooks and historical features to find and take pictures with. The Sherwood Trail of Lights

The City of Sherwood hosts an annual drive-through light display called the “Trail of Lights.” Drive through more than a mile of spectacular light displays featuring your favorite Christmas characters, and at the end of the trail, everyone receives a free candy cane! Entrance is free, but donations are accepted to fund future displays. Learn more on the City of Sherwood website.

GloWild! At the Little Rock Zoo

Starting in November and continuing until January 15, the Little Rock Zoo with be hosting GloWild!, a light experience that makes the entire Zoo just glow. Over 30 light displays of various zoo animals, from elephants to butterflies to whales, are waiting around the park for you to discover. You can buy tickets at the gate or online with the link above! Parking is free.
