Central Arkansas Organizations to Donate to This Holiday Season

This year has been incredibly challenging for many of us in the Central Arkansas Community. Now more than ever, it’s important for us to support our struggling neighbors who have been hurt by the pandemic. If you don’t know where to start, we at Landers Kia are here to help. Below, we’ve shared several organizations in Arkansas that are working to support those struggling from homelessness, food insecurity and other forms of crisis. Read on to find an organization to give back to! 

Women and Children First

Women and Children First supports Central Arkansas to live lives free of domestic violence. To support WCF this holiday season, you can provide items for their Christmas Store, adopt a family, or make a donation. Restore Hope Arkansas

Restore Hope Arkansas is an organization that strives to reduce incarceration rates and the number of children entering the foster care system in Arkansas through community partnerships. The organization works to provide families and individuals in crisis with resources like safe and affordable housing, employment assistance, legal aid, food stability, childcare, alternative sentencing, reentry assistance and more. Our House

You hear the song every year: “there’s no place like home for the holidays.” Unfortunately this isn’t the case for homeless Arkansans.Our house is an organization that provides housing and resources to families and individuals in Central Arkansas to help them find a way out of homelessness. Financial donations and donations of goods like coats, toiletries and other necessities are accepted.

Arkansas Food Bank

This year, record numbers of Americans have experienced food insecurity and turned to organizations like the Arkansas Food Bank for support.  From now until December 31st, your donation will be matched to bring hope to Arkansans who have struggled to put food on the table during this tumultuous time. UAMS COVID-19 Fund

UAMS is collecting donations to cover the costs associated with screening, testing and treating patients with COVID-19. Their COVID Support fund provides personal protective equipment for their healthcare workers and other supplies necessary for their free COVID-19 screening and testing services.
