2019 Kia Sorento: Refined Yet Rugged

The 2019 Kia Sorento is a roomy vehicle for the whole family, and it’s perfect if you’re not quite ready to be a minivan mom. This SUV is refined, but it’s also one that you can totally take off-road if you desire to do so.

The SUV was upgraded a bit for 2019 and we have to say, we’re digging it. The 2019 Sorento has a detailed radiator grille flanked by headlamps that are fully LED on the higher trim levels. This subtle facelift has given the Sorento loads of attitude.

You know it’s a Sorento because of the quad fog lamps and those have been updated with projection bulbs for the EX and SX trims and LEDs for the SXL. Around the back, the 2019 Kia Sorento has a sporty muffler tip and sleek taillamps too. There are three new wheels designs that range from 17- to 19 inches, depending on the trim.

The interior of the 2019 Kia Sorento got a makeover too. The steering wheel and shifter knob are more tactile while the instrument cluster has improved graphics.

There’s an available panoramic sunroof for times when you want to stargaze or guess cloud shapes on the go. The seating is available in premium Nappa leather for optimal elegance and comfort while traveling as well.

The 40/20/40 second-row folding seats and 50/50 third-row folding seats are now standard on all 2019 Sorento trims. This provides seating for up to seven and tons of storage space (up to 73 cubic feet of cargo room) when those two rows are folded down. The cargo area is easily accessed through the new rear liftgate.

The 2019 Kia Sorento starts at $25,990 and there are five trims: L, LX, EX, SX and SX Limited (SXL).
