If you spend a decent amount of time in the car commuting, picking up the kids, taking weekend trips or are just a little lazy, check out this list of car hacks we’ve put together!

• Seat warmers + hot pizza/takeout = warm food when you get home.
• Keep a large envelope in your door pocket for random gas station and fast food receipts.
• Extra napkins from the drivethru? Stash them in your center console or door pocket in case of spills later.
• Place a set of thin, collapsable sun shades in your windshield during hot summer days to minimize burning your thighs on leather interior and singeing fingers when touching the steering wheel. This will also minimize the chance of the sun cracking your dash in the future.
• No sunshades? Turn your steering wheel 180 degrees when you park so the top portion won’t burn your hands when you drive off.
• Keep purses and bags in place by buckling them in.
• Store a lint roller in your glove box or center console. This is super useful if you have cloth interior, especially if it’s black, or carry around a dog that sheds.
• Place silicone cupcake liners in your cupholders to catch crumbs and keep the condensation from getting everything wet.
• Foggy headlights? Try rubbing whitening toothpaste all over the headlight and rinse with clean water.
• Keep a laundry basket with handles in your trunk to fill with groceries so you don’t have to make multiple trips. For those of you in apartments with elevators, invest in a collapsable cart or wagon.
• Keep a plastic caddy or small box in the trunk to store your funnel and extra fluids.
Have a unique hack we didn’t mention? Let us know!
