The all-new 2023 Kia Niro has been changed from the inside out. You’ll notice the exterior has a remarkable new aero side blade to distinctly set apart the 2023 Niro from all the other vehicles out on the road. The signature LED lighting up front ensures you can see far and wide at night while making the Niro look incredible. The rear of the Niro has vertically shaped taillights that complete the look of this new redesign.

Inside the Niro, you’ll find available driver-centric dual screens for the gauge cluster and center touchscreen. You’ll be able to control everything on your new Niro with just the touch of a button. If that’s not enough information, there is a heads-up display that shows important vehicle information right on the windshield in front of you. Of course, there is Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities that showcase your music on the premium Harman Kardon audio system. One really cool new feature is a dynamic ribbon of buttons that can change from climate controls to audio and navigation controls with just the touch of a button. This is a great way to conserve space and reduce clutter while still giving you the option to control your Niro without digging through menus on the touchscreen.

The Kia Niro has always featured a few different powertrains but for 2023 there are three main ways the Niro can be powered. The standard 2023 Kia Niro is a hybrid vehicle with a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine. This works just like a traditional gasoline engine with the addition of a hybrid battery and electric motor. There is nowhere to plug in this version of the Niro but you will achieve over 50 miles per gallon and have a cruising range of almost 600 miles on a single tank of fuel.

The 2023 Kia Niro Plug-In Hybrid has a larger battery and can be plugged in to create an all-electric driving experience of about 33 miles. After that, the 2023 Niro PHEV can be used just like a standard gasoline vehicle. If you do not want to plug in the Niro PHEV, you don’t have to!

Lastly, the fully electric Niro EV is for those drivers who want the most cutting-edge technology. The targeted range for the battery-only Niro EV is just over 250 miles. When plugged into a level three DC fast charger, the Niro EV can replenish 10 to 80 percent in under 45 minutes, at a maximum charging capability of 85 kW. Most customers will have a level two plug inside their garage or at their apartment complex or office and that can recharge the Niro EV in under seven hours.
