The elusive Scorpion edition of the 2022 Kia Stinger has hidden itself in the sand, just like some of its animal counterparts. Just recently though, Kia America has drug this special edition out from behind its rock to share with the world, and we’re glad they did! This limited-edition Stinger is going to be very limited with only a maximum of 250 units available per month to dealerships throughout the U.S.

Let’s talk more about what we know about the 2022 Kia Stinger Scorpion.

The 2022 Kia Stinger Scorpion is the most similar to the GT2-Line trim. The Scorpion comes with GT2 RWD and AWD options, with the RWD being the more popular variant. The exterior design is a more refined version of the Stinger with 19-inch black wheels, blacked-out fender garnish, side mirror caps, and darkened exhaust tips. The Scorpion has its own tail stinger with a body-colored rear spoiler attached. The exterior colors available are Snow White Pearl, Aurora Black, and Ceramic Silver. The pictures alongside this blog are of the Ceramic Silver paint.

Moving to the inside, the Stinger Scorpion comes with similar safety features that the other Stinger trims have, including a 10.25-inch touchscreen and Blind Spot Monitoring. Additionally, the inside has a carbon fiber pattern and optional red or black Nappa Leather for the surrounding interior designs.

Pricing varies depending on the drive. RWD starts at $52,585 and AWD starts at $54,785.

So, what do you think? Does the 2022 Kia Stinger Scorpion have a better sting than the other 2022 Kia Stingers or are they both equally worthy of the new Kia badge?
