The new 2023 Kia Telluride takes the best from the existing 2022 Kia Telluride but continues to build on the firm foundation that has made the Telluride so popular. While the 2023 Kia Telluride is not a complete redesign, you’ll notice key differences that make the 2023 Telluride stand out from everything else on the road.

The 2023 Kia Telluride offers a 3.8-liter V6 engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission. This engine produces 291 horsepower and 262 lb.-ft. of torque. You can have your Telluride with your choice of either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive for more surefooted handling. The standard towing rating is 5,000 pounds but the max towing capacity for 2023 has been increased by 500 pounds to 5,500 pounds on the newly introduced X-Pro trim level.

When setting out on the road in your new 2023 Kia Telluride, there are four drive modes to choose from – Smart, Eco, Sport, and Comfort. Each of these modes uses different settings for powertrain, drivetrain, and steering effort mapping to provide the desired driving experience. In addition to the four regular drive modes, the all-wheel-drive Tellurides get snow mode and “AWD Lock” for specific driving conditions. There is an available self-leveling rear suspension.
