The 2021 Soul is equipped with a standard 2.0-liter dual-overhead camshaft 4-cylinder engine that produces 147 horsepower and 132 lb.-ft. of torque. The Soul Turbo is equipped with a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine that packs 201 horsepower and 195 lb.-ft. of torque for an extra boost of strength. What about the transmission of the Kia Soul? The 2.0-liter engine is paired with an intelligent variable automatic transmission or an available six-speed manual transmission on the LX. The turbocharged engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission for a thrilling driving experience.
