The 2021 Soul EV has a lively and thrilling driving experience thanks to the 201 horsepower electric powertrain with immediate torque and single-speed direct-drive transmission. What about the driving range of the 2021 Soul EV? The new Soul EV has a driving range of 243 miles, making it a competitive rival of other electric vehicles in its segment!
One of the most interesting and exciting features of the 2021 Soul EV is the Smart Regeneration System. The system is operated via paddles behind the steering wheel, allowing drivers to slow the vehicle and capture more kinetic energy to increase the driving range. Drivers can choose from four regenerative braking levels from zero to four depending on their desired driving efficiency and experience. The system also intelligently alters braking in response to vehicles detected in front of the Soul EV.
Drivers can further customize their driving experience with the Soul EV’s four driving modes: Eco, Comfort, Sport, and Eco+ (plus). The levels adjust the power output, level of regenerative braking and air conditioning and heat settings to alter the driving experience and/or increase efficiency.
The 2021 Soul EV has a 64.0-kWh battery with a driving range of up to 243 miles. The battery can be charged at public charging stations or from home with 240 or 110 power outlets. It also includes DC fast-charging capability as standard.
