The 2020 Soul gas models are powered by a standard 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 147 horsepower and 132 lb.-ft. of torque. If you want more punch, there’s an available 1.6-liter turbocharged I-4 Gasoline Direct Injection engine that delivers 201 horsepower and 195 lb.-ft. of torque. What about the 2020 Kia Soul transmission? The 2020 Soul is available with a 6-speed manual transmission on the LX, an intelligent variable automatic transmission on the S, GT-Line, X-Line, and EX, and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission on the GT-Line Turbo. With all these options, there truly is a Soul for everyone!
The Soul’s new look includes a sculpted body and an aggressive face with a larger grille and available fully-LED headlamps. The X-Line and GT Line are more rugged and sporty than the other Soul grades.
The 2020 Kia Soul has upgraded infotainment and tech in the way of an available 10.25-inch HD color touchscreen with split-screen functionality, rearview monitor and parking guidance. It also has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
By far the most fun feature of this next-gen Soul is its available Mood Lighting System. The interior center door panels and cool 3D pattern on the upper door panels emit soft light in a rainbow of colors that can be synchronized to the beat of the music playing through the Soul’s audio system. There are six moods to choose from: Hey! Yo!, Party Time, Traveling, Romance, Midnight City and Cafe.
What about the colors of the Kia Soul? The 2020 Kia Soul is available in ten eye-catching solid exterior colors and seven two-tone color combinations. The monotone colors include: Inferno Red, Sparkling Silver, Snow White Pearl, Cherry Black, Solar Yellow, Mars Orange, Gravity Gray, Undercover Green, Neptune Blue, and Platinum Gold.
